While snacking on a muffin from
Brumby’s Go in Terminal 1, enjoy a cappuccino made from freshly ground coffee beans from
Aromas Café,
Astro Café or
Gloria Jean’s. Terminal 2 also features several gourmet coffee houses, such as
Santos Café and
Velco Espresso, where you can sit down and relax before the flight. However, if you’re in a hurry, there’s a great range of take-away foods from
Quickfix or
Jamaica Blue Café.
One of the most popular hot beverages today is Masala Chai, or Chai tea as it’s most commonly known. Originally from the Indian subcontinent, it consists of a mixture of aromatic spices and herbs and is surprisingly sweet. Many coffee houses use the term ‘chai latte’ to indicate that it is made of steamed milk as in a normal café latte, but has been flavoured with spiced tea concentrate instead of espresso. Give it a try!
