The Armani Group opens its first Emporio Armani store at Sydney Airport. Located at Terminal 1, the retail space covers over 80 square meters.
Much more than a fashion boutique, the new store design embodies Giorgio Armani’s vision of the modern, casual lifestyle that Emporio Armani represents. The store offers the complete Emporio Armani lifestyle collection for men and women including formal and casual wear, sportswear, leather accessories, watches, eyewear, and jewellery collections.
The curved floor is made from cream coloured stone with a black border while the accessories area, which dominates the two sides of the store at the entrance, is characterized by large backlit images featuring the current advertising campaigns and is surrounded by counters and product displays. A large screen projecting the current collections dominates the entrance of the store. The overall impression is of modernity, with the new curved concept capturing the essence of Emporio Armani in an unexpected and elegant way to create the perfect surrounding for the products.
The Armani Group’s programme of travel retail openings is not only well established, but also sets a significant presence in the world’s most important airports, with the support of strong partnerships with leading retailers.
