Sydney Airport’s new shopping website – www.SydneyAirportShopping.com.au is also available for retailers to promote their products and promotions.
Sydney’s International Terminal is Australia’s gateway, handling more than 10 million passengers in 2007. These numbers are expected to grow strongly over the next twenty years, reflecting Australia’s surging popularity as a global tourist destination.
Sydney Airport is rated the second highest gross retail sales per passenger in the world* and for the past three years (2007, 2006 and 2005) has been voted in the Top Ten International Airports (Conde Nast).
Currently undergoing a major $500 million redevelopment to be completed in 2010, Sydney’s International Terminal is offering a much expanded, world-class shopping complex with over 140 stores planned for Terminal 1.
